Step 1: Connect with the Internet

While starting with the process, make sure that you have active internet. This will help you show both the proper address and allow you to connect to the router. 

Step 2: Open the network details

On your desktop, go to the start icon and click the settings, then click on Network and Internet. 

Step 3: Get the network details

Go to the network property found in “View Your network Property,” and click the Wi-Fi section and note the default gateway number.

Step 4: Note down the default gateway number

The number beside the default gateway will be in the form of an IP address and will start with 192. 168. 

Step 5: Open Your Router’s page

Open the Preferred web browser, enter the default gateway number into your address bar, and then enter.

As soon as you press enter on your web browser, you will be asked to enter the username and password provided to you. If you have already set up your router’s security settings, you can easily log in by entering the details. If not, then you could enter the default login credentials.

The first step in the process is to ensure you have active internet. This will help you show both the proper address and allow you to connect to the router. 

Step 2. Open the network details

Click on the apple icon on the top left corner of the screen and select system preferences from the drop-down menu. 

Step 3. Get the network details

Go to the network icon, which is found in the form of a globe icon. Next, click the advanced section on the lower right side of the window.

Step 4. Note down the default gateway number

Click the TCP/IP tab at the top of the pop-up window. Review the number next to the router heading. The number to the right of the router is your router address. This number is in the form of an IP address and will start with 192. 168.

Open the Preferred web browser, enter the default gateway number into your address bar, and then enter. 

Step 6. Enter the username and password.

As soon as you press enter on your web browser, you will be asked to enter the username and password provided to you. If you have already set up the security settings for your router, then you can quickly login by entering the details. If not, then you can follow the steps mentioned above to find the username and password of your router. 

Step 7. Finalize your forwarding
